NOTE TO VISITORS: Not all venues (especially farms and community gardens) are open all the time, so please check opening hours and the events listings /calendar to ensure that there is something on.

FOOD AND FARMERS MARKETS
Bishops Castle Farmers Market
Bishop’s Castle Town Hall hosts a flea market on the first Saturday of the month, and a farmers’ market on the third Saturday from 9am to 1pm.

Cleobury Mortimer Market
Our indoor markets take place in and around St Mary’s Church in the centre of Cleobury Mortimer, just off the High Street, from 9.30am to 12.30pm. The markets are held every 3rd Saturday in the month throughout the year.
Ludlow Market
Ludlow holds daily markets in Castle Square (apart from Tuesdays), with a farmers’ market on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of every month (see Local to Ludlow Market).
Much Wenlock Markets
Much Wenlock has been a market town for over 800 years. It has daily markets in the Corn Exchange, the Square and in the Buttermarket under the Guildhall. Check website for trading times.
Bridgnorth Market
Bridgnorth holds a market along the high street and beneath the Town Hall on Fridays and Saturdays. A speciality Sunday market takes place twice a month from March to December.
Ellesmere Market
An indoor market takes place on Tuesdays in Ellesmere’s Market Hall, from 9am to 2pm.
Lydham Farmer's Market
Come along to Lydham Friday Market (at Lydham Village Hall) where you can stock up on: Fruit and veg, flowers, fresh local bread, cakes and pastries, local free range meats, pies, a variety of cheese, pickles, eggs. Browse round our craft, gift and home products stalls including ethnic clothing/insence/cards, knitted clothes, printed goods, designer home furnishings, wild wool gifts, recycled bricketts to burn, pet products, garden implements and plants/shrubs. Then why not enjoy a cup of coffee/tea and bite to eat at our popular cafe! You can also buy electrical goods or arrange repairs ! Open 8am - 2pm.
Newport Market
Newport’s striking blue and white Indoor Market Hall was built in 1860. It’s open from 8am to 3.30pm every Friday and Saturday.
Church Stretton Market
This popular market opens early Thursday morning and closes around 2pm. You can buy a range of products including fresh fruit & veg, fish, locally baked bread and cakes, plants, savoury pies, cheese and pet food.
Ludlow Local Produce Market
Ludlow Local Produce Market is a large, twice-monthly farmers' market selling a wide range of everyday and specialist food and drink produced within 30 miles of Ludlow. 9am -2pm.

Market Drayton Markets
Street Market on Wednesday. Indoor market Wednesday and Saturday. 9am – 3pm.
Oswestry Town Market
Oswestry’s Town Market is on Bailey Head. The indoor market is open Wednesday, Friday and Saturday and the open air street market is on Wednesday and Friday. Artisans’ Market is the last Friday of the month and other speciality markets take place all year.
